Beware of Our Postings and Sharings

Over the years I have learned one big lesson to survive in social media world of today: Know what you SHOULD post and share and what you SHOULD NOT post and share.

Seriously this one looks simple. But truth is, as time pass by and we encounter certain life events, we might forget and make mistakes by sharing unnecessary things.

Here's some of the DO NOT post or share things in social media platform(e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Wechat) based on my own knowledge and experiences:

1) Your personal details: personal handphone number, personal emails, personal address

You should know that bad people can use these info to get you or do bad things to you. Share these info only when needed and with people you know.

2) Your personal problems e.g. marriage, love relationship, financial position, work problems

Unless you have a clear message for others to learn from your experiences: Do not post or share your problems. Share it with your close family members and friends only. You will never know how happy your enemies are when they see you suffer. Or maybe you don't even know that you have enemies. Be careful, dear.

3) Sensitive, provocative things like political opinions, race or religion

There is no harm in sharing good messages from your preferred political party or  race or religious groups. But do not share posts that are racist and provocative to others. You want respect, you should respect first. Simple, right?

4) Your nasty side

Ever seen news about girls being conned and their naked pictures got viralled in social media? Seriously no matter how deep your love is to your partner, NEVER EVER give them your naked pictures or videos. Even with censored faces. Why? Because they can always post your naked picture side by side with your non-naked picture. Who cares when it comes to 'rezeki percuma'?

But you love him. And to prove it you have to give it to him. Hmmm...Can you just stand strong with this? I mean, prevention is better than cure, right? Put a little bit of your rational mind in your relationship. What if you break up with him? What if he or you leave? Will he be kind enough to just move on and let you go? Think carefully dear. Don't be that cheap. Be more classy than trashy.
